Moroso oil accumulator. Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold modified to work with a spreadbore carburetor. 273 Commando valve covers with Medice Manufacturing valve cover spacers.
Chrysler A833 4-Speed manual. Early 3.09/1.92/1.40/1.00 gearset, slip yoke driveshaft. Hurst Street Super Shifter shift mechanism & linkage. Hurst Jeep TJ Competition Plus shifter handle, classic white Hurst shifter knob. Centerforce 10.5" clutch. Mechanical clutch linkage.
Chrysler 8 3/4" rear differential. Housing narrowed to late A-body 8 1/4" width. Shortened C-body Chrysler axle shafts, tapered roller bearings, 2.94 gear ratio with Sure Grip limited slip differential.
Tube Technologies, Inc (TTI) # 636A early A-body long tube step headers black ceramic coated by Bonehead Performance Coatings. TTI 2.5" H-pipe dual exhaust system. Magnaflow mufflers. Modified '68-70 Plymouth B-body oval style exhaust tips.
Chrysler torsion bar front suspension, 1.0" diameter torsion bars, 1.125" diameter front sway bar. Late A-body upper control arms and matching late A-body disk brake spindles. 16:1 manual steering.
Rear suspension: 1969 Barracuda Formula S leaf springs, 0.75" rear sway bar.
Converted to 4.5" wheel bolt pattern. Up front, late B-body 11.75" rotors, sliding calipers. Rear, 10x2.5" drums. Stock replacement late A-body manual disk brake master cylinder.

Autocross/road race combo: Toyo Proxy R888R tire, 235/50-15 on '80-83 Cordoba 15x7 10-spoke wheels at all four corners. Drag race rear: 225/50-15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial on Mirada 15x7" wheels. Street combo: 215/60-15 on Mopar 15x6.5" HD steel wheels painted E1 dark blue metallic.
Stock 1965 Valiant V100 body panels and trim. Original 1965 CC-1 Light Blue paint code. Older single stage repaint that might be a shade brighter than stock. Graphics: 3M 2028 Gloss Boat Blue and 3M 2080 Gloss Burnt Orange vinyl. Exterior mirrors: Raydyot style with convex mirror glass. Headlights: Holley Retrobright headlights with Classic White bulbs.
Reproduction stock tank retrofitted with -6 return port. Enlarged vent line on filler neck to -6 fitting and line. Holley Sniper Muscle Car EFI fuel pump module, 255 LPH with internal 58 PSI regulator and HydraMat pickup filter/reservoir. Modified outlet to use Fragola -6 tube nut and sleeve. Fragola -6 PTFE hose and fittings. Aeromotive 13301 universal return regulator. Aftermarket 9000 series 800 CFM Thermoquad with electric choke. Allstar Performance drop base air cleaner assembly.
Griffin B-body big block Performance Fit cross-flow radiator. Removed Griffin mounting brackets, fabricated brackets to fit Valiant. Custom fan shroud. Allstar Performance/Flex-A-Lite 18.375" nylon flex fan. Vibrant hoses, couplers, and T-bolt clamps. Allstar Performance bushing on water pump inlet to adapt 1.5" inlet to 1.75" lower lose. Evans Waterless Coolant.
Odyssey Extreme series PC1200 AGM battery. Moroso 4-post battery kill switch. Cramer Power Electronics VR101 adjustable voltage regulator. Powermaster Mopar square back alternator. Allstar Performance buss bars. Assorted relays with integrated ATO fuses.
Stock recurved Mopar electronic distributor. Mopar Performance "Chrome Box" electronic control module. Pertronix epoxy filled canister coil. Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm plug wires. NGK V-Power spark plugs.
Deleted rear seat. Kirkey aluminum front seats & seat covers. Auto Custom Carpets molded front and rear carpet, extra carpet to cover rear seat delete panel. Modified dashboard. Custom stainless panels holding Classic Instruments Moon Hot Rod series gauges. Classic Instruments SN34 Fuel Link interface.

Origin of Valiant
Valiant was born a 170 slant six, three on the tree base model Plymouth Valiant 100 2-door sedan. Zero options. No radio, no cigar lighter, no reverse lights, no outside mirrors. Equipped with single speed wipers.

Drag Week Tech, plus Test & Tune. Car ran the first clean quarter mile pass this day. 15.00 short shifting it and just getting a good feel for the car on the dragstrip.

Car ran 14.860 @ 94.68 MPH. Time was a little slower, but the altitude was significantly higher here. Then the long winding drive to Maple Grove.
